This is such a fun pie to make during the Summer and it can be easily adapted to whatever you and your family like! There are so many ice cream flavors out now and even ice cream flavors that are made for certain diets. Pick your favorite ice cream flavor. You can opt out of using a pie crust (If you wish), and top it with your favorite candy.

Ingredients Needed for Ice Cream Pie
In this section, you can find substitutes or suggestions for certain ingredients. I also will try and list out what the ingredients' purpose is for.
- Graham Cracker Pie Crust - Preferably 1 6oz Keebler Graham Cracker Pie Crust 9” or you can make your own with crushed up graham crackers and butter
- Vanilla Ice Cream - Literally any type of ice cream will be good. I don’t recommend using seasonal holiday flavors for this just because they are hard to find all year long.
- Chopped Up Candy - Use your favorite chocolate bar, mine is Milky Ways or Reese’s.
- Caramel Drizzle - or chocolate drizzle
Ice Cream Pie Variations
S’mores Ice Cream Pie - Graham cracker crust, Chocolate Ice Cream, Toasted Marshmallows, and Chocolate Drizzle
Peanut Butter Pie - Peanut Butter or Chocolate Ice Cream, chopped Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, and drizzle some melted peanut butter on top
Peppermint Pie - Peppermint Ice Cream (when it’s in Season) Chocolate Graham Cracker Crust, crushed up peppermint Oreos, and chocolate drizzle.
How to make Milky Way Ice Cream Pie
To print the full recipe please see the recipe card below.
Step 1 Place the ice cream out for a while on the counter to let it defrost so it's easy to scoop out. Do not let it defrost completely.
Step 2 Once the ice cream is well enough to work with and easy to stir in ingredients, add in the chopped candy and stir. Place the ice cream inside the pie crust and fold it out so the whole pie is covered with ice cream.
Step 3 Top the pie with remaining ice cream and drizzle the top with caramel sauce. Store in freezer.
