Stuffed dough bites filled with cheddar cheese and bacon and they can be made in the air fryer! You can bake them in the oven or air fry them.
Ever since getting my air fryer I’ve been going through older recipes on this site and updating them to include air fryer instructions. That is, if I know the recipe will work in the air fryer. These Cheddar Bacon Bombs definitely will work in your air fryer. They are little balls of cooked dough stuffed with cheddar bacon and then get stuffed with a garlic butter spread.

Ingredients for Cheddar Bacon Bombs
- Canned Biscuit Dough - Other items that will work are refrigerated canned pizza dough or frozen bread dough that has been thawed. You can also use Pillsbury Crescent rolls.
- If you are low carb you can use my recipe for Fat Head Pizza Dough
- Cheddar - Any type of cheese that is shredded will be ok. The recipe calls for cubed cheese but you can also use shredded.
- Bacon - Use bacon that has already been pre-cooked so it’s easier to assemble the bombs.
- Olive Oil - Look for olive oils that are labeled as extra virgin, cold-pressed, and unfiltered for the highest quality.
- Parsley - is a type of herb that is commonly used as a garnish or seasoning in various dishes. It has a bright green color and a mild, slightly bitter taste. Parsley is a good source of vitamins A and C, as well as minerals such as potassium and iron.
- Oregano is a common herb used in cooking, particularly in Mediterranean and Mexican cuisine. It has a pungent, slightly bitter taste and a strong aroma

How to make Cheddar Bacon Bombs
See and print the full recipe below.
Step 1 Take one biscuit dough and spread the biscuit out with your fingers. You can also use a rolling pin to do that too.
Step 2 Place a piece of bacon on the bottom in the center of the biscuit and then shredded cheese. Wrap the biscuit around the cheese and pinch down to the dough so that they're really tight. Do this with the remaining biscuits.
Step 3 In a microwave safe bowl, melt the butter with the parsley, oregano, and garlic powder. Brush the butter mixture on top of the bombs.
Step 4 Then bake them in the oven for 15-20 minutes or until the bombs start turning brown. At 350 degrees. Or Air Fry at 400 for 5 to 7 minutes.

I have two air fryers. The Cosori 4 Qt Air Fryer and Ninja Woodfire Grill which is an outdoor air fryer. It’s pretty awesome! It has 5 different functions on it.
How do I store leftovers?
Always store leftovers in clean, food-grade containers. The type of container doesn’t really matter. Use zip lock, glass, plastic, whatever! Make sure to store any leftovers in an airtight container.
Best Air Fryer Tips!
- Preheating ensures that the fries cook evenly and achieve the desired crispiness.
- Avoid Overcrowding: Cooking in smaller batches will help the fries cook more evenly and get crispier.
- Shaking the Basket: Shaking the basket halfway through cooking helps ensure that all the fries cook evenly.
- Experiment with Seasonings: Feel free to experiment with different seasonings like garlic powder, paprika, or Cajun spice to add an extra kick to your fries.
