Ingredients for Sweet and Sour Meatballs:
When I made this recipe below I did not have my own recipe for meatballs on my blog but now I do. I posted the link above with the directions on how to cook them in this sauce.
Grape Jelly - The only way to keep this recipe low points is to use sugar-free grape jelly. I used Smucker's Concord Reduced Sugar Grape Jelly.
BBQ Sauce - G Hughes has a really great sugar free BBQ sauce. When I tried it I couldn't really taste the difference. Use their Hickory flavor BBQ sauce.
How to Make Sweet and Sour Meatballs:
Step 1 Add the grape jelly and bbq sauce in a bowl or directly in a slow cooker. Stir to combine.
Step 2 Add the meatballs and stir to coat the meatballs. Place the lid on the slow cooker and cook on high for 3 ½ hours, stirring once or twice during the cook time.
Step 3 Serve warm.
Instant Pot Instructions:
- Add the meatballs to your Instant Pot.
- Add the grape jelly and BBQ sauce over the meatballs, but do not stir.
- Place lid on Instant Pot, and turn vent to Sealing position, then hit PRESSURE COOK for 5 minutes.
