Bacon cheddar fries made in the air fryer are a delicious and easy snack or side dish. The crispy fries are topped with melted cheddar cheese and crispy bacon bits, creating the perfect blend of salty and savory flavors.
You have to try these loaded cheddar fries in your air fryer. Go nuts on the toppings or make some loaded nacho fries. For easy cleanup, place some tinfoil on the bottom of your air fryer. It’s no fun cleaning up melty cheese from the air fryer or burnt cheese. Gross.
Frozen french fries were the first food I learned how to cook in my air fryer and I’m never cooking them any other way. I’ve been using 400 degrees and 12 minutes for a lot of frozen food for quite some time now.
The air fryer is one of my favorite kitchen appliances. Check out some of these recipes! Air Fryer Chicken Parmesan, Air Fryer Oreos with Crescent Roll Dough, Air Fryer Grilled Cheese, and Air Fryer Toasted Ravioli.

Ingredients for Loaded French Fries
Frozen french fries - I used the Ore Ida Crinkle Cut fries but any type of fry will work.
Cheese - Top with your favorite type of cheese.
Bacon - Use pre-cooked bacon that’s been already chopped. I used the microwave bacon that takes 1 minute to cook. Can do the same time for air fryer. Check out how to make Air Fryer Bacon prior to making these fries.
Other toppings - Add your favorite nacho toppings like taco seasoned ground beef, nacho cheese sauce, chopped tomatoes, scallions, pico de gallo, or sour cream.

Best Air Fryer Tips
The air fryer is so great for cooking simple basic food like air fryer steak, air fryer hard-boiled eggs, and air fryer bacon. Cook up some air fryer chicken breasts for the week and use it chicken quesadillas.
Overcrowding: Do not overcrowd the basket. Place items in a single layer in the air fryer basket or some food will not cook properly or all the way through.
Use a spray oil such as Pam to get food extra crispy and to save on calories.
Use parchment paper on the bottom of your air fryer for easy clean up.
