Why You Will Like This Recipe
Oh yah, and these cinnamon rolls? They're 5 points apiece which is what I normally try and eat around breakfast time. Have some fruit with them. The pomegranates were just for decorations since there were some leftovers from my salad. You can leave those out.
Ingredients Needed
- Self-rising flour -is a type of flour that already contains baking powder and salt, which are essential ingredients in many baked goods.
- Plain fat free Greek Yogurt - is considered great for a variety of reasons. It is typically higher in protein and lower in sugar than regular yogurt, making it a good choice for those looking to maintain a balanced diet.
- Vanilla, divided - It is made by macerating and soaking vanilla beans in a mixture of water and Vodka. Use a good pure vanilla instead of the imitation vanilla extract.
- Eggs - The best type of eggs you can buy at the store are organic or free-range eggs, while others may prefer eggs from specific breeds of chickens
- Butter Spray (20 sprays) - I like to use I Can't Believe it's Not Butter Spray
- Brown sugar - Is made by combining granulated white sugar with molasses, which gives it a brown color and a slightly different taste than regular white sugar.
- Cinnamon - is a spice that comes from the inner bark of several trees from the genus Cinnamomum.
- Cooking spray
- Powdered sugar, divided - for icing
How to Make 2 Ingredient Dough Cinnamon Rolls
Step 1: Preheat oven to 350°F.
Step 2: Mix flour and Greek yogurt together in a medium bowl until a shaggy dough forms. Transfer to a surface dusted with more self-rising flour, and knead for 8 to 10 minutes. Continue adding flour as needed if the dough is too sticky.
Step 3. Place a large piece of parchment paper on a work surface and sprinkle with a little flour. Place dough on parchment paper. (You can skip this step if you're work surface is clean) Sprinkle extra flour and roll out the dough with a rolling pin to form a large 10x12-inch rectangle.
Step 4. Spritz the dough evenly with Butter Spray. P.S You can also take the spray cap off and just drizzle the butter on top of the dough. Sprinkle the brown sugar and cinnamon, all the way to the edges.
Step 5: Starting with a long edge, roll up dough tightly (use parchment paper to help roll up the dough) to form a 12-inch-long roll. You can use this same method making easy breadstick recipes. Try out Easy Cheesy Garlic Bread Sticks next.
Step 6. Cut roll into 8(1-inch) slices. Arrange dough slices in an 11 x 7–inch baking dish coated with cooking spray. Bake until lightly browned, 22 to 25 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before topping with glaze.
Step 7. Combine remaining ½ cup powdered sugar, remaining 2 tablespoon yogurt or milk, and remaining ¼ teaspoon vanilla, stirring until smooth. Drizzle glaze over cinnamon rolls. Serve warm.
8. Serving size: 1 cinnamon roll, 5 points
How do I store leftovers?
Always store leftovers in clean, food-grade containers. The type of container doesn’t really matter. Use zip lock, glass, plastic, whatever! Make sure to store any leftovers in an airtight container.

Greek Yogurt with self-rising flour can be really tricky to work with. If the dough is sticky add some more flour to the surface or rolling pin.

I haven't tried them with your corrections. I'd use the WW recipe builder to figure out the points for that.

I’m wondering if you make icing with just powdered sugar and water or fruit juice, like lemon or pineapple, how would the points be cut?

I cut the recipe in half to make so I divided the total calories you provided by 2 and got 117 calories. I will be making this and baking the cinnamon rolls with a waffle maker and oozing the icing on it before I eat it. Thank you for the recipe. I am currently trying to get off processed food and making my own meals for one. and storing the rest for whenever I want them for breakfast. I only plan to eat two each meal.
